English language courses this summer for girls 15-17 years old.
Accommodation
In a university residence in centre of London, in individual and shared rooms.
The accommodation includes all meals, daily cleaning of the rooms and the laundering
of bed linen and towels. There is a personal laundry service in the residence which is
included in the cost of the course. All items must be labelled.
Classes and exams
Classes take place in Ashwell House. There is a test on the first day in order to place
each student in an appropriate group. There will be four classes each day
between 9.00a.m.and 1.00p.m. Special attention will be paid to the spoken word,
reading and conversation. At the end of the course all the students will take the
TRINITY COLLEGE exam. They will receive a diploma in due course.
Other activities
There will be opportunities to speak with native speakers at meals and during the
cultural activities. These include watching films with sub-titles and other activities
in which they can practise their language skills. Cultural activities take place every
afternoon including sports, visits to the theatre, visits to museums and other places of
interest in London. There will be a weekly outing to places such as Oxford, Cambridge,
Hampton Court, Windsor or Greenwich. On all these occasions they will be accompanied
by a teacher or a monitor.
Expenses
The price of the course includes full board, outings, cultural activities included in
the study plan, transport in London, entrance to museums, the theatre and the cost of
the TRINITY COLLEGE examination and diploma.

Course 2: 14 July – 3 August
